Medliminal’s CEO, Jim Napoli, joined the team in 2016 with a distinctive background in healthcare law. A prominent ERISA lawyer for more than 20 years, Jim saw the unfortunate state of healthcare and felt the need to make a more meaningful impact. Jim saw the opportunity in Medliminal and has spent the last three years defining the business structure and fighting for medical bill compliance.

Jim Napoli | As Medliminal’s CEO, Jim Napoli does more than manage employees and run a company. With more than 21 years of legal experience in the healthcare and ERISA arena, Jim is unwavering in his pursuit of compliant charges and accurate pricing for all healthcare payers. Since he was appointed as CEO in October of 2016, Mr. Napoli has established a focused team of innovative professionals, initiated new technologies, increased revenue, and brought one of the nation’s largest healthcare companies on board as a Medliminal client. With no sign of slowing down, Mr. Napoli and his team recently released a new service line specifically for employers and employees.
Mr. Napoli’s passion for compliant medical bills came about during his time as a lawyer. He has handled several multi-billion dollar group-health transactions, and he represented the American Benefits Council before the United States Supreme Court in a case challenging the Affordable Care Act. During his tenure as a practicing attorney, Mr. Napoli held the titles of Senior Counsel and/or Partner at three of the nation’s leading law firms: Seyfarth Shaw, Proskauer Rose and McDermott, Will and Emery. Now, as the CEO of Medliminal, LLC, Mr. Napoli draws on all of this experience to act as an advocate for all healthcare payers.
Harry Fox | Harry Fox has a well-established presence in the healthcare community, having held the positions of Chief Information Officer at Kaiser Permanente and CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. This background has allowed him to develop an in-depth understanding of the world of health insurance and benefits. Mr. Fox is the current Chairman of the Board of Whitman-Walker Health System. He places a focus on strategic planning, information technology, business operations, and cybersecurity. Mr. Fox attended Pratt University to achieve his bachelor’s degree and received an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School.
Ginger Miller | Ginger Miller has spent her career focusing on different aspects of healthcare. With positions in high-level clinical operations and working hands-on with patients as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, Ms. Miller has a solid understanding of the medical industry. Her varied and extensive background is what led her to serve on the Board of Directors for Medliminal. Ms. Miller is currently the Senior Vice President of Operations at Intermedix and held a similar title while at Verisk Health. She received her bachelor’s degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Utah. Ms. Miller has also been recognized for her success in the industry by Utahs Business Forty Under 40.
Norman Kravetz | Norman Kravetz is an entrepreneur with a long and distinguished track record of success across many businesses.
Mr. Kravetz recognized the need for cost containment in medical insurance billing and serves on the Board of Directors for Medliminal. He is a mentor to Medliminal’s executive management team and influences the public image of the organization. He also guides management in the execution of business plans to improve overall performance.
Mr. Kravetz has over 46 years of experience in the Southern California real estate market and is the founder of Realty Bancorp Equities, LLC. He is also the founder and owner of Kravetz Capital Funding and the owner of NJK Holding, LLC.
Joe Wilkins | Joe Wilkins has enjoyed a long career dedicated to the healthcare industry, constantly seeking growth and transformation. He places a focus on integrating technology and enhancing the quality of service to patients, physicians, and consumers. A passion for innovative thinking and positive change led Mr. Wilkins to serve on the Board of Directors for Medliminal.
Mr. Wilkins is a senior healthcare executive with an impressive tenure in the healthcare community. Working with companies like Danaher-Beckman Coulter, Quest Diagnostics, and Atlantic Health System, Mr. Wilkins has always sought to bring transformation to the healthcare system. Mr. Wilkins received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Finance from Argosy University.
Brian Smith | Brian Smith is an experienced business developer and healthcare sales leader. Working with startups, established companies, and even his own consulting firm, he has been involved in various levels of healthcare. His involvement and understanding of the medical care community are what led him to join the Board of Directors for Medliminal. Mr. Smith is the Founder and Operations/Sales Leader of the 5-person consulting firm B. Castle Smith & Company. Additionally, he is the current Vice President of Growth & Business Development at Kepro. Mr. Wilkins graduated with his bachelor’s from UCR, and his master’s in Public Health Studies from UCLA.
Douglas Jacobsen | Douglas Jacobsen saw the value in the medical payments integrity space 10 years ago. After reviewing the industry, Mr. Jacobsen bought Medliminal’s predecessor company, Medical Recovery Services (MRS) in 2013 and has served as its Executive Chairman ever since. He is responsible for overall business strategy and is the driver of all financing activity along with all mergers & acquisition activity.
Mr. Jacobsen is a lifelong entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in cultivating multiple successful enterprises. Mr. Jacobsen received his bachelor’s degree from UCLA and is a member of the Seneca-Cayuga of Oklahoma.
